I opened the hotel-room door, and there was Renata: just like her pictures, but with nerves no image could ever capture.

A rainy night, a blackout, and an embrace that began in fear. With my roommate, I discovered something I never expected to feel.

I came to Madrid to make beds and mop floors. No one warned me I’d also learn to kneel before two women who would decide everything about me.

I arrived with my recorder and my questions ready. She welcomed me with a cup of coffee and a smile that was not exactly professional.

Four friends, a house near the beach, and a bottle of vodka. What started as a game became the most intense night of my life.

Four weeks watching her move between the tables, wanting what I didn’t dare name. After that, nothing was ever the same.

I’d wanted her since I was twenty. Five years, a marriage, and a child later, Elena showed up at my door.

They tried to pry a secret out of me. What I didn’t know was that they were hiding something much bigger—and that afternoon would change our family forever.

Claudia looked at her in a way Sofía could no longer pretend not to understand. That afternoon, neither of them would look away.

We had been studying for hours when the cold became unbearable. Sofía invited me into her bed to warm up. Neither of us expected what came next.

We were two women in the same bed, my husband was sleeping on the floor, and I’d spent years wondering what it would feel like to touch another woman’s skin.

The excuse was a Pilates app and her empty living room. What happened next wasn’t in any exercise program.

Lorena had a reputation for liking women. I never paid it any mind until that spring morning when we ended up trapped together.

She was washing dishes in rubber gloves when the other woman whispered in her ear how much she’d enjoyed her husband.

When I entered the room and saw 198 naked people waiting for my signal, I realized I'd crossed a line I didn't want to go back over.

When I asked her to tell me again, her eyes closed, her voice dropped to a wet whisper against my neck, and I knew it still burned inside her.

I’d known her since I was seventeen. I had told her everything. And that afternoon, while I was zipping up her dress, I realized I wanted to kiss her too.

Every morning I purposely hike my skirt up one finger’s width more, hoping some older woman will look at me with that mix of disapproval and desire that appears in all my fantasies.

Vera went to the pool to escape the July heat and ended up finding Noa, the lifeguard, waiting with the gates already locked and her eyes already on her.

We sat facing each other with a martini each. One rule: see, talk to, smell each other. Touching was forbidden. And she had an ice cube in her hand.
