Four Friends, a Naturist Resort, and an Inevitable Threesome
Valentina drove with both hands on the steering wheel and her eyes fixed on the A7, which opened out before them like a long promise. The Mediterranean appeared on their left a couple of kilometers after the last toll booth, blue and dense under the July afternoon, and in the back seat Sofía pressed her face to the window and let out a long sigh.
—There it is —she said.
—Still half an hour to go —Tomás replied from the far end of the seat, not taking his eyes off the phone where he’d spent the last hour reading resort reviews.
Rodrigo, in the front passenger seat, closed his eyes and leaned his neck back against the headrest. They’d been on the road for four hours from Madrid, and the fatigue had emptied his mind of everything except one thing: the image of the four of them crossing the gate at La Cala Libre without clothes, walking those paths he’d seen in the photos. The idea felt as exciting to him as it did ridiculous, and that mix was, according to Valentina, exactly the point.
Valentina had organized everything. She’d found the resort on a forum, persuaded the others one by one in separate conversations, booked the cabin four months in advance. Forty-three years old, a lawyer, black hair cut to her chin, and a capacity for making decisions that was sometimes intimidating. Rodrigo had known her since university and knew that when Valentina planned something, she saw it through to the end.
This time won’t be any different, he thought, and he wasn’t sure whether that made him feel calmer or more nervous.

La Cala Libre was tucked between two hills three kilometers from the coast, protected from the wind by a line of pines and from prying eyes by a tall, discreet wooden fence. The guard at the entrance checked the reservation without asking questions, handed them a map of the grounds, and pointed them toward the cabins in sector B with the calm indifference of someone who has spent years watching nervous people arrive and leave relaxed.
They left the car in the shaded parking area and took out the suitcases in silence. There were families with children in the distance, by the central pool, and groups of people of all ages walking unhurriedly and unclothed, as if it were the most natural thing in the world. Because according to the resort rules, it was: mandatory nudity in common areas, respect, discretion, no photographs.
—Well —Sofía said, and then fell silent.
She was the youngest of the four, thirty-one, a nurse, with a reddish mane that fell to her shoulders and a habit of frowning when something made her uncertain that made her look even younger. She’d spent weeks talking about the trip with a mixture of excitement and panic she hadn’t quite been able to hide.
Tomás put a hand on her shoulder without saying anything. He was the one who’d asked the fewest questions when Valentina proposed the plan, the one who’d voiced the least doubt out loud. Forty years old, a builder, his arms covered in tattoos down to his wrists, and a bodily calm that Rodrigo had always found enviable. The calm of someone who trusts his own body.
The cabin was small but well equipped: a double bed, a sofa that converted into a bed, a terrace with views of the pines and the sea, which could be glimpsed between the trunks. On the bedside table, someone on staff had left a welcome note, a bottle opener, and a bottle of water. The air inside smelled of warm wood and cleanliness.
Valentina surveyed the space before dropping her bag onto the bed.
—Shall we start? —she said, and it was a question, but it sounded like a proposition.

Taking your clothes off in an open place, with three people watching, was harder than Sofía had imagined. Not because she was ashamed of her body, but because the act itself carried a weight she hadn’t expected. Each garment that fell to the floor was one less thing between her and the others.
Valentina stripped without hesitation, with the efficiency of someone used to doing something. Rodrigo did it more slowly, looking away for a moment before looking at himself in the mirror on the door. Tomás pulled his T-shirt over his head and folded his jeans over the chair with excessive care, as if he needed to impose order somewhere.
They went out onto the resort paths with the sun already sinking toward the hills. The ground was hot underfoot. The air smelled of pine and sunscreen. A few meters away, two men were playing cards at a wooden table, and a group of women laughed near the open-air bar with a naturalness that Sofía found almost unsettling at first and then, gradually, reassuring.
They walked for nearly an hour. Little by little, Sofía’s shoulders dropped. The tension that had knotted her neck since morning eased with every step. It was strange, yes. It was uncomfortable at first, yes. But there was also something liberating about moving like that, without layers, with nothing to hide.
Valentina walked beside Rodrigo, their hands brushing without quite joining. Tomás and Sofía walked behind, and at one point, when the path narrowed between two tall bushes, Tomás put a hand on her back to let her pass first, and she felt the touch like a brief current that didn’t fully fade when he withdrew his hand.
This is going to happen, Sofía thought. I don’t know when tonight, but it’s going to happen.

Back in the cabin, Valentina opened the bottle of wine she’d brought from Madrid and poured four glasses while the others spread out in the limited space, sitting on the bed and the sofa, talking about unimportant things. The conversation gradually emptied of content, like water dropping until only the bottom remains.
It was Rodrigo who moved toward Valentina first. He knew her too well to circle the moment with too many words. He put a hand on the back of her neck, and she lifted her face to his, and they kissed slowly, without urgency, as if they were alone.
They weren’t alone.
Sofía watched them from the edge of the bed with the wineglass between her hands, fingers tight around the glass. Tomás was seated beside her, and she could feel the heat of his thigh against hers even though they weren’t touching. At some point she set the glass on the floor, and Tomás did the same.
—Are you okay? —he asked softly.
—Yes —she replied—. I’m very okay.
She kissed him; he didn’t kiss her first. That, too, was different from what she’d imagined.

What followed wasn’t chaotic or hurried. It had the strange slowness of things that have been awaited for a long time. Valentina lay back on the bed and Rodrigo knelt between her legs, his hands opening her slowly, his mouth descending to touch her with his tongue. She closed her eyes and planted her heels in his back, breathing deeply as he licked her with patience, running the tip of his tongue through her center, parting her with his fingers, burying his mouth in her with a mixture of hunger and control that made her arch more and more.
—Like that —Valentina murmured, her voice already broken—. Don’t stop.
Sofía and Tomás had stretched out beside them. The bed creaked slightly with each movement and, for some reason, that made everything feel more real. Tomás ran his palm over her breasts, slowly, without haste, weighing them, pinching her nipples between his fingers until Sofía let out little moans she tried to bite back. His hands were large and hot and knew how much pressure to apply without anyone having to explain it to him. He slid down her stomach, brushed the mound of Venus with his knuckles, and then, with slow determination, sank two fingers into her while kissing her again, deep and dirty, his tongue pushing her gasps up into her throat.
—Like that —Sofía said, without specifying further, because it wasn’t necessary: she was wet, open, trembling beneath him.
At some point Valentina opened her eyes and saw Sofía on top of Tomás, moving with a concentration she found beautiful and a little surprising. I didn’t expect that from her, she thought, and smiled before Rodrigo claimed her again. Rodrigo turned her carefully, spread her legs with his hands, and entered her slowly, first just the tip, then more, letting himself be swallowed by that tight heat that drew a low groan from him. Valentina complained with pleasure, pressed her forehead to the pillow, and he gripped her hips to go deeper, pulling almost all the way out and sinking back in, setting a firm rhythm that made skin slap against skin in a wet, steady sound.
The bodies found their positions organically, without long negotiations. Rodrigo positioned himself behind Valentina while she braced herself on her hands and knees, and he entered her slowly, letting her get used to the rhythm before going deeper. Valentina made a low sound, almost a growl, and he took it as a sign to continue. He grabbed her hair at the nape of her neck, arched her back with a hand on her sacrum, and began fucking her with thrusts that grew fuller, stronger, until the impact of his hips against hers tore a long, trembling moan from Valentina that bounced off the cabin’s wooden walls.
Sofía, from where she was, reached out and touched Valentina’s shoulder. It was a brief gesture, almost instinctive. Valentina turned her head and looked at her, and in that look there was something that didn’t need a name.
—Come here —Valentina said.
Sofía moved closer on her knees across the mattress, and Valentina pulled her toward her with a firm hand on the hip. What followed was new for Sofía, completely new, and she felt it as a physical revelation, immediate and unambiguous: Valentina’s mouth finding exactly the place she needed it most. Valentina licked her slowly at first, with a hard, patient tongue, parting her lips, slipping between them, sucking her clit with a precision that made Sofía writhe and search for the sheet with her fingers. Then she sped up, without losing control, listening to every gasp, every tremor, until Sofía began begging her for more in a broken voice that no longer sounded like her own.
Tomás watched them from behind, standing by the bed. He stroked himself deliberately, with the same calm he brought to everything. At some point Rodrigo nodded toward him, inviting him, and Tomás took the lubricant from the bedside table and came up behind Valentina.
—Yes? —he asked, his hand resting on her hip but not moving.
—Yes —Valentina said without leaving Sofía—. Slowly.
The entry was gradual, millimeter by millimeter, Tomás stopping every time Valentina tightened her muscles and resuming only when she relaxed. First the tip, then a little more, until he was fully inside and they both breathed at once. Tomás held her hips firmly and began to thrust at a measured, deep rhythm, making Valentina open and close around him while Rodrigo, beside her, held her by the shoulder and kissed her sweaty back. Sofía, still trembling under Valentina’s mouth, lowered her hand and squeezed Tomás’s thigh, feeling the sway of his body behind her, the way his thrusts lifted the whole bed.
Rodrigo had moved to the side to give them space, and from there he watched the scene with narrowed eyes, Sofía’s hand linked with his in a way neither of them could quite remember having started. He brought his fingers to his mouth, sucked them one by one, and then kissed her with open hunger, tongue against tongue, while his other hand went down between her legs to find her again soaked, hot, trembling.
For a while no one could have said how long it lasted, the movements synchronized on their own. No one was directing. No need. The bodies found their rhythms and adjusted and found them again, and the sound filling the cabin was that of four people fully present in what they were doing. Nothing else. Valentina pushed her hips back to take Tomás deeper; Rodrigo took her from the front with a hand tight on her breast, pinching her nipple until she moaned; Sofía climbed onto Tomás, riding him with short movements at first and then wider ones, digging her nails into his shoulders while he held her by the waist and made her bounce against his cock with brutal ease.
Valentina was the first to come, with a contraction that ran through her whole body and a short, unadorned cry. Sofía came soon after, her face pressed against Rodrigo’s neck, clenching her legs so hard she could barely breathe. Tomás pulled out in time and finished across Valentina’s back with a low sound he made no attempt to hide. Rodrigo sat up, looked at the three of them, and let out a laugh that had nothing forced about it.
—What? —Valentina asked, turning around.
—Nothing —he said—. Just that it’s been years since I laughed like this after fucking.

Afterward they lay scattered across the wrinkled sheets, breathing. The terrace stood open, and a breeze came in smelling of pine and the night that had fallen while they were inside.
Sofía had her eyes open, staring at the ceiling. She wasn’t thinking of anything in particular, only feeling the weight of her own body on the mattress and the warmth of the others around her. It was a strange and very clean feeling.
—Anyone hungry? —Tomás asked.
They all laughed. It was the kind of laughter that loosens something in the chest.
—There’s bread and cheese in the bag —Rodrigo said—. And another bottle.
—Perfect —Valentina said, not moving yet.
Sofía turned her head and looked at her. Valentina had her eyes closed and a calm expression Sofía hadn’t seen on her before, or maybe she had and simply hadn’t known how to read it. She’d met her three years earlier through Rodrigo and had always seemed like a person with few visible cracks. That night she’d seen some of them, and liked them more than the surface.
Outside, on the resort paths, distant voices and laughter could be heard, and the sound of music someone had put on in one of the other cabins. La Cala Libre still had two days ahead of them, and inside the cabin, among the four of them, there was something that didn’t have an exact name but that they all recognized.
Valentina opened her eyes and looked at the ceiling.
—Tomorrow we’ll explore the beach on the other side —she said—. They say there’s a couples area and a private area.
—And what’s the difference? —Sofía asked.
—None —Tomás replied—. That’s the point.
Rodrigo got up to fetch the bread and cheese, and from the kitchen, with his voice a little muffled by the distance, he asked if anyone wanted him to turn on the light.
—No —the three of them said in unison.
The darkness was perfect just as it was.
